Mouth-watering good. A local friend of mine suggested this place on our recent trip. It’s across the street from Drifter’s Reef Motel. Has a bright red roof so you won’t miss it like we almost did. It was fantastic both times we ate there. We tried the crab cake and pit beef and dip sandwiches one lunch and went back for ribs the next evening. Also had the homestyle peach cobbler for dessert. All was mouth-watering good! Service was prompt and friendly. This place also served beer which was nice to have with our meals.
Not worth it. Just got home from there, totally disappointed. Being from the Baltimore area, my pit beef standards might be a little high but I could even eat half of it. onion rings are Disgusting, even the pickle was crap. Definitely NOT ever going back. Waste of a good commercial location
DE-LIC-IOUS!!!. Love Buster’s Pit Beef! You get really good food here for a good price. Went with my boyfriend and we had the pork barbecue and pit beef and cheddar. Amazing! We’ll be going back again. Highly recommend. Support this great new place in Carolina Beach!
New no-frills addition to Carolina Beach. Just returned from a nice Sunday lunch – tried the BBQ beef which was thinly sliced and moist. The BBQ sauce complemented it nicely, not thrilled with the horseradish sauce which was uninspired. The sandwiches came with about 12 large, crispy perfectly cooked french fried and a pickle spear. Will certainly return for the pork BBQ and some of their specials (ei, pulled pork quesadillas).
Amazing Pit Beef Sandwich!. Great new place with pit beef sandwiches, pork barbecue, crabcakes and more. Pit beef sandwich is my favorite but everything is really good. Good prices too. Will return for more and recommend to friends.
