It’s completely average. I wouldn’t make it a point to go here, but I also wouldn’t try to steer anyone away. It’s a decent dining experience with decent food. I got the Maryland crab cakes and they certainly aren’t up to par with any crab cakes you get up around Baltimore. However, the chowder is to die for. There was also no wait, so that’s a plus.
Excellent food served in a pleasant atmosphere. My granddaughter and I ate here one night on Spring Break. I had the Seared Scallops on risotto. She was adventurous and had the sirloin tips marinated in Coca Cola. Both dishes were presented and served with style mouth and were wateringly excellent. Portions aren’t huge, but quality beats quantity anytime when it comes to fine food. Prices were reasonable. Granddaughter noted it as Must come back sometime.
Food wasn’t that good for the money.
Don’t spend your money. Food arrived cold, how can they kill crab cakes with turmeric? A med rare steak delivered well done … Just because they have the location doesn’t mean they have the chef.
Cha Cha salmon was amazing. Perfectly cooked! My son had the baseball sirloin and cleaned his plate. Service was wonderful and attentive. Would come again for sure.
Havanas has it all! Great food, the perfect ambiance, outstanding service, and a warm tropical feel! My wife and I had dinner there about a week ago and LOVED it! ‘Charlie’s Chowder’ is off the charts fantastic. Packed with clams! We also had the Horseradish Ahi Tuna, which my wife can’t stop talking about, and the slow roasted prime rib that was so juicy and tender that it just melts in your mouth. Fantastic. I highly recommend. Oh! And sit on the front porch for a real home style southern feel right next to the beach. We’ll definitely be back.
Went there for valentines day with my boyfriend. What a cozy little gem. The food and service were both excellent!
