Great place. The food was awesome and the service was awesome. Everything was farm to table. We had Blue Point CT oysters on the half shell, Shrimp and Grits, and Scallops. Everything was extremely good.

My girlfriend and I were really blown away by the food in our recent visit! You can really taste the farm to table difference. We started off with a pork belly appetizer with lentils and sweet potatoes, and it was incredible. I’ve never had lentils that tasted so good! My girlfriend ordered the Aloha burger ($8 burger special on Wednesday nights) and we agreed that it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever tried. The fries were outstanding as well. I ordered the pecan encrusted catfish, and it was also excellent. The portions were pretty good for the price, and the staff were all friendly as well.

Staff was extremely nice and attentive. Food came out quickly and served hot. The cornbread was a bit too crumbly, but it was good. The tuna avocado was great, but was a bit too heavy on avocado for my boyfriend. So I ate the whole thing, which I didn’t mind. I got the catfish, which was well cooked. The dish itself was good, nothing particularly stands out. The presentation was mediocre, as the whole dish was brown with small slices of carrots. It felt as though the dish was missing something, possibly something fresh and crunchy to give it some spunk. My boyfriend got the mahi which was cooked well. The pesto was strong, but didn’t go as well with the dish. Corn and tomatoes would’ve been a better choice than summer squash. The vegetables were well cooked. Overall, the prices weren’t bad at all and food was good. I would consider coming back, but would explore other options first.

Meh…. We went here early on a Thursday and were excited to try a small farm to table restaurant. The staff was very friendly, but we were surprised by the limited variety of available fresh seafood selection. I have allergies to tree nuts and most entrees had some tree nut. If you love bourbon then the drink selections will be a good fit. Kudos for not having the run of the mill selections, but we found nothing that our party of 4 was looking for.

Good Food, Small Portions, Great Dessert, Heat Stroke. The staff is welcoming, the prices are mostly reasonable, and the place is really quaint inside, but portions are fairly small. I would not recommend getting a salad since the salads seem to consist primarily of mixed greens with very few toppings. (I only got five shrimp on my cilantro lime salad.) My dad’s almond-encrusted mahi was delicious, but it lacked a substantial side dish. My mom’s watermelon salad was pretty and tasty, but it was also quite small. We split the Cheerwine cake and bourbon banana bread pudding for dessert. The Cheerwine cake was decent, but the bread pudding was absolutely delicious. I would recommend coming to this restaurant for the dessert. That being said, I would not go back to this restaurant since it was so hot and stuffy inside that all customers were guzzling water, dripping sweat, and mopping their faces with napkins. The ceiling fans were completely insufficient. I was very displeased.
