Good and Not So Good. Fun atmosphere. I had the tuna special. It was delicious and cooked perfectly: grilled medium rare, just as requested. My husband had the grouper and thought it was very tasty. My daughter ordered the crab cakes. They were overdone and mediocre. She left most of it on the plate. We thought the hush puppies were delicious. We wouldn’t order the local clam chowder again….hardly any clams. Same for the lemon and lime pie…not worth the calories.
The bait and switch technique is alive and well at crab shack. The baked potato on the menu wasn’t in stock and potato casserole was offered by the waitress as a substitute. What came out of the kitchen was a disappointing dish of cold potato salad. I guess repeat business is not a priority for the Crab Shack.
The Best Seafood in Town. The food is delicious! Some of the best hushpuppies I’ve had, the shrimp and flounder are cooked to perfection! It’s the only place we eat seafood. The view is beautiful and relaxing!
Ehh. Over priced – food wasn’t good and service was slow – the view was good.
This is our new favorite place to eat at when we come to the beach. Food was excellent, good portions and the hushpuppies are the best I’ve ever had. Service was great and fast. Perfect beach vacation food! Will definitely go back!
Save your money and go elsewhere-mediocre menu,bland food.
Scallop Fritters are the best that I have ever ate. Side dishes of Green Beans, and Okra were wonderful.If the Crab Shack was closer to my home, We sould eat there twice a week.
