Horrible Service!!. DO NOT GO DURING LUNCH!! I waited close to 40 minutes for my order, and to top it off…they got my order wrong (I ordered white rice, and got fried rice). No apologies, no attempt at making up for the wait…NEVER AGAIN!!!
Charged me when they said they will give me a free meal…read below… This happened on 8/19, so a week or two from 8/19 I ordered from the lunch special. I found a small piece of plastic. It look like is from one of those soy sauce package where the corner part was in my food. I called spoke to the manager ( it was a woman). She apologize d and said she’ll give me a meal free. On 8/19 I ordered my meal again from the lunch special. I DIDN’T give them my card number I got my meal with receipt saying 0.00 so now I look on my account there is a charge on my card for that meal. Remember I DIDN’T give them my card #. So that means they wrote down my card # from the previous order. I will not order from here anymore. The place where I work is not too far from them we order from there almost every week. Now I have to tell my co- workers not to order from them. Because they charge you 1.00 extra for paying with cards, and 2.99 for paying cash. That is messes up, but people gotta eat and now we have to find somewhere else to eat.
What happened?. We’ve tried Asian Garden twice. First time we were very impressed with the quality and quantity from this strip mall eatery. Hot and Sour soup was delicious–not gooped up with corn starch as they so often do at other asian restaurants. Others enjoyed their chicken lo mein. On second visit, however, the lo mein was tasteless. We had to douse with soy sauce to get any flavor out of it. It was as though they left out the sauce completely when they cooked it. We will give it another shot!
I’m happy to say this place was really quite good. We used to frequent the Japan Express that was previously in this location. This place is a great replacement. The Hibachi Chicken was all white meat and very tender. Sweet and sour chicken was also excellent. Service was very friendly. Prices were average. This will be a frequent lunch spot for me.
