The place was decent, with lots of space. For the cost of 1 person’s buffet, the quality was okay, I felt. The salad was good with fresh veggies and tasty dressings. The main course was little dissapointing. Since most of the crowds coming for lunch there are Asians, it seemed like they customized the main course to an Asian cuisine. The Baklava was however a huge hit. I loved it.
Baba Ghannouj is an average place for Mediterranean food. The place is spacious but the tables are small. I would have preferred real cutlery on the table. The buffet is fairly large and most items are decent. The vegetarian mains tend to be soggy most of the times. One big plus is the baklavas and hot tea in the buffet. You can find better places for Mediterranean cuisine.
Horrible rude service coupled with LOUD middle eastern music made the dining experience horrible. Did not help food was bland and expensive. Three small pieces of beef for $11 is ridiculous.
Pretty Good.. The gyros are good- but sort of small. some of the veggies they serve are a little soggy. Overall a nice place to go for a change of pace/
Friendly staff. I have been a regular customer at Baba Ghannouj and enjoy their polite staff. Shawirmas are good along with their various platters. Original Crossroads location is best if you want good service
Well…what can i say?. Baba Ghannouj was once the best and ONLY middle-eastern restaurant in the Cary-Area. But after eating so much, i think i’m just sick of it. First of all, the kebabs made there are ‘deep fried’ and VERY OILY when cooked. they are not freshly made unfortunately. The place is also nice for casual get-togethers but doesn’t really appeal to formal dinings. The food is OK, but i’ve seen better restaurants of this kind in our area. And..if you like Baba Ghannouj you might even like: Village Afghan, Saffron, or even Unaabi Grill.
My family and I are regulars here at Baba Ghannouj for seven years and we never seem to get sick of it. We go almost every Friday now. The food is delicious and wall dcor makes the resturaunt look like it’s truly in the middle east. The service is great, always smiling with a little twinkle in their eyes. It’s absoloutely divine dining though it may not look that way at first. But you know what they say, don’t judge a book by it’s cover!
