I’m positively disposed to this place, even though we didn’t try a lot of different stuff here. Despite having a truly frightening number of screens the volume stays quite low, and it is a pleasant place to get a drink and have a chat.I got a mixed drink, which was very reasonably priced, and well made. We also shared a Veggie Pizza, which had real pieces of vegetable, and came absolutely smothered in cheese on a nice thin crust. The service was great and prices are reasonable.I look forward to going back.

Quite surprised to find how delicious the food at CAH is. The dry rub wings were fantastic as were the gourmet pizzas. The salads were large and burgers were fresh grilled to perfection. Maybe we were just lucky, but our server was fantastic and really knew the food and beer menu well. We will make this a top choice when dining in Cary. A notch above the other restaurants in the same area.
The service is good, and the atmosphere is decent, but the food is average at best. The buffalo wings are very mild (although meaty), and the nachos were bland. Overall, a very average experience.
Terrible terrible experience over all. My friend and I go out every Saturday night to a different restaurant. I picked Carolina ale house because I looked up the menu online and saw salads because I didn’t want to completely blow my diet. Well we get there sit down and a girl who is not our waitress comes to the table and gets our drinks she was great. When our waiter comes to the table he is completely socially awkward. We order. Wait for a while with empty drinks. Someone else brings us our food and about 15 minutes later our server appears I had already got up walked to another server asked for a ranch and a manager and still have no ranch when our waiter gets to the table. I ask him to get a manager and when he comes out 10 minutes later I let him know as a waitress for the last 3 years the service was terrible and my salad was awful as well. He didn’t seem to care. I didn’t pay for my salad or the service. I am mad they still got $21.50 from me. I will never return here and I will make sure none of my customers do either.
The food here is good, above average pub food but I am not a fan of the atmosphere. I asked to have one tv changed and was denied even though EVERY other tv in the place is on football. These guys behind me yelled noooo when i asked even though there are a minimum 5 other tvs on with games they can see, 3 of which have the same game on and I’m facing the corner and can see one tv. Now I’m just annoyed when everyone starts cheering rather than having a good time. Instead of a fun atmosphere now I’m viewing it as noisy.
Very disappointed. Had a chance to check this place out while visiting Raleigh for the weekend, and I was not impressed. The food was good enough, but the service was terrible. Not sure if the guy was new, or just overwhelmed, but it was a mess. We asked about making a change to how something came on the menu, and were told ‘the kitchen is really backed up, they aren’t going to want to do any special requests’. It was a minor request, and we were pretty annoyed that he didn’t even entertain asking if it could be done. Throughout dinner the server would drop stuff off at the table without saying anything, and would walk away before we could ask for what we needed. The food was generally good, though the cole slaw had chunks of cabbage that were way too big. There are too many other options nearby, I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you want to be frustrated.
