I admit it I was wrong. A friend loves this chain and goes there all over. I am a chain snob when in a new town and try to seek out a local spot. I had resisted going with him here but finally gave it. It was good. I thought I would be ehh and poo poo him for eating at a chain but I had to swallow those words. The pollo Maria was served hot and had a great flavor. The one hit was I thought a little pricy – $90 for three of us with just one drink I will definitely try the one back home

Still like it, but…. Once a top of the line favorite, but the more I go, the less impressed I am. Service is not relaxed, food is formula (good formulas, but still a cook and not a chef), the noise seems to be louder and the tables closer together. As long as my Dad loves it I will continue to visit, but this chain has lost its luster.

Awesome!. We went here for my birthday last year. I have a severe allergy to monosodium glutamate. We called ahead to make sure I could eat something there, like we usually do with every restaurant. However, when we got there, our waiter went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I knew what was MSG-free on the menu. We will definitely be going back.

Bland. The food is bland and boring. The only real seasoning used seems to be salt and black pepper. With all the great authentic Italian restaurants in the area I don’t know why a chain such as this gets any business. Don’t bother.

The food is pretty good. But we only go there for the excellent Lentil Soup!

This our favorite comfort food. The owner, Mike, does a great job hiring here, and that results in excellent service and consistently great food. We love the Filet Marsala (not on the menu, but they’ll make it). The marsala sauce is made from real wine rather than powders like many other so-called Italian restaurants (garden, anyone?)The atmosphere is always relaxed but enjoyable. This is the best Carrabba’s we’ve been to, so make sure you go to the one in Cary on Kildaire.
