One of my very favorite places in Cary!!!!. This place is just so much fun! The last time I went to Chef’s Palette, I had a close friend meet me there who was coming from far away. She said she knew immediately she was in the right place from the bright beautiful torches burning outside that you can see from Ten Ten Road! All in all, this place is so festive! Everyone here is super-friendly. There is an outdoor patio where you can get a breath of fresh air, great bands play in the bar, and everything I’ve ever ordered food-wise was totally delish! Will be back with more friends!
Great Date night place…room 4 improvement. I loved the art and the dark lighting with the cool electronic menus. I wish I had gotten a starter. My scallops were delicious but not piping hot which was disappointing and distracting from the flavor. Remember to order a side or all u get is the meat like most upscale places do; I wish the server had up-saled that like she tried to push the alcohol. My husband’s salad with blackened salmon was very good and a generous portion. I saved room for dessert b/c of the rave reviews. Mistake. My creme brle was more like flan, too eggy and no flavor except the torched top. We returned the ginger cake b/c the yogurt made the granola so hard it was almost impossible to eat and my hubby who loves peanut butter didn’t like the pB foam on top. I’d be willing to try once again, but boy was it disappointing for my birthday. They did put a sparkler in dessert for my bday which was sweet. I will give 3 out of 5 which is generous, mostly for ambiance and creativity.
Delicious and low carb!. Enjoyed the delicious filet chefs special, last night. Was shocked to see I could have a meal like this in a restaurant and remain low-carb! Creamed cauliflower was fantastic! Thank you! Encourage adding a low-carb offering each night!

Not so great.. Small plates, high dollars.
High priced drinks. I like the atmosphere at Chef’s Palette but each time I go, I get upset at being charged high prices in the bar. $10.50 for a Pinnacle vodka drink is crazy. I asked for a Citron and Tonic and got a Pinnacle Citrus for $10.50 instead. I don’t mind paying more for top shelf drinks, but Pinnacle is not top shelf. My husband ordered a martini and the glass was barely half full. We asked about it and they said this was the normal pour. I think the only thing to drink there is beer because for the liquor drinks you pay way too much. They need to check out the competition and see what is the going rate around here because they are charging too much for poor quality!! Each time I go, I think I will not go back but I keep trying and keep getting disappointed.
Such a great atmosphere. Wonderful art on display. Good place to go on a date and excellent food.
