While I’m not from New York, this pizza is okay and that’s about it.. Good service, sauce was good but the dough was just okay ~ but no where near the great pizza I’ve had the pleasure of tasting in NY!
NY Pizza. If you load your pizza with multiple toppings I’m not talking to you. But if you like thinner crust pizza with a sauce that has flavors like you get in the better NY pizza ‘joints’, try Cozzolino’s. Living most of my life in Long Island and working in Manhattan, there were sooo many pizza parlors you had to be good to survive. I moved down 3 and 1/2 years ago, and am delighted to say Cozzolino’s serves the best I’ve had in Cary, and they do it consistently. To me its all about the sauce, and theirs has flavor that comes from attention and knowing how. Enough cheese, without going overboard as some do, and even the sheen of a little olive oil from the sauce. Yumm
Cozzolino’s NY Style Pizza. I am a native Long Island New Yorker…Unfortunately I am also far from Long Island NY and if there’s anything I miss more than a good bagel it’s NY PIZZA.At least once a week I thank the powers that be that I located Cozzolino’s Pizzeria.It is truly the best tasting pizza I’ve had outside of New York or Chicago and may very well be better then some of the old places I used to patronize.The sauces…both marinara ( how I order it ) and their regular pizza sauce are both fantastic. The crust is tasty and is always cooked to perfection.The salads are hearty and always fresh.I would and have recommended this establishment to friends and family and will continue to do so.
Delicious NY Style Pizza. I adore their plain ol’ cheese pizza. It’s the best I’ve found in the area.
Wonderful food and staff!. Tonight was my second time ordering with Cozzolino’s after a neighbor suggested we try it. I’m so thankful we did! We called in orders over the phone each time and the woman on the phone was very helpful in going over specials and answering all of my questions. When I arrived to pick up my pizza, although it wasn’t ready, the man at the register was kind, and got me started on a punch card, great deal!! Again another fantastic pizza from here! The only thing I suggest is more of a sitting area for people waiting for their food to finish.
Good Service. We used Cozzolino’s to cater my sister’s wedding, and it was wonderful. the servers were punctual, the food was delicious, everything was great. We also, recently had a church missions fundraiser and Cozzolino’s helped us by donating some food items. We will use them again, for sure.
