Awesome Restaurant. We ate ther for the first time this past weekend. Food was great, waiter & manager were very attentive and generous. We will definitely recommend Doherty’s, to our friends & family.
Awesome corned beef and beer selection accompanied by great atmosphere and staff.
Excellent spur of the moment choice. We enjoyed the Mullingar potato pancakes, beef stew and crab cakes. All was delicious! Can’t wait to come back. Sever was exceptional.
Patricia’s Choice!. I have lived in Cary for 20 years and Doherty’s is my favorite dinner pub. The Salmon Dill Salad is delicious and healthy, with a grilled salmon, over a bed of spinach, with hard boiled egg, red onion and carmelised nuts for just a hint of sweet. My favorite! Love the menu, music, atmosphere, and management. Friendly wait staff, who really want to know you by name. Lucky to live near this great establishment.
We had a party of eight tonight and every one of us loved what we ate. A few plates came out a few minutes late but it was well worth the wait. We moved to the area a week ago and already know this will be a regular place for us!
Wish it was better. It was St Paddy’s Day so I expected the wait to be long, but after two hours, I knew I was going to be disappointed. My daughter had the kids fish n’ chips which my wife and I agreed was the best dish on the table. I ordered the Shepard’s’ Pie which was a little mushy and my wife ordered the Corned beef and cabbage. Both of us were displeased. Maybe the 1 1/2 hr wait set us up, but the food was unimpressive. It doesn’t help that we are both true-blue foodies. So if you are in the category of a foodie, or food hustler, do not go to Doherty’s.
