Poor rendition of German food. Not authentic. Came out with either no flavor or WAY over salted. Dessert was soggy. The only thing that was good was the beer. Major disappointment.
The atmosphere was German/Bavarian. The was a fine selection of German wines and beers. The bread was white wheat but lacked the density and heft of German black bread. The potato salad had the essential ingredients but was distinctly lacking in vinegar. The red cabbage was excellent with a touch of sweetness and again missing the vinegar bite. The Demi-glaze on the Jager Schnitzel had clear Americanized color texture and flavoring. Not a bad meal but lacking the authenticity I was hoping for.
Poor excuse for German food. Schnitzel was over fried on the bottom and dry, rouladen had been cooked to almost jerky like texture and smothered with gravy to disguise its dryness. The bread was store- bought Italian doughy crap, not even heated. Wait staff offered only a half-ass apology as we left more than half our food behind (90% of the rouladen which was not edible). We will never be back.
