The worst place. Nasty food. Not hot nasty. My boyfriend got plastic out of his chicken
Don’t recommend. Besides the food being average at best, you also have to to tolerate the waitresses that stand around and glare at you while youre eating. The draw of this place is the decor which is nice, comfy and appealing but the food is not the best. Rather unfresh. If you want some great Asian food on a buffet then go up the road to Grand Asian. No fancy decor but the food is tops.
At the new location tonight for dinner. The manager on duty was rude and not willing to listen. I asked about using the kids price for a one trip to the bad because I am a Baratric Patient. My surgeons practice does not give I’D cards . It has been statistically proven that patients with I’D cards abuse going out to eat and end up gaining weight back. So I get told no and that I will have to order off the menu. While I am sitting with my husband as he eats, I hear a mother reminding her kids to say they are 8 when the waitress ask. Isn’t that a double standard? You believe every parent that lies about their child’s age to get a cheaper price and call me a liar because I have no card to prove I have had surgery!!! Wow…would anyone really think to make up a lie about Bariatric surgery? Your manager needs to learn how to talk to a customer. No worries. We will NEVER be back. Thank you to the 10 or so restaurants in raleigh that believe me when I explain my situation.
Too greasy. My husband and i usually go to n raleigh to a chinese buffet. yong fu buffet. we love it there. they have whole baked salmon in water and whole baked talapia. we tried hibachi china because we live in cary so it is closer. our friends had warned us that everything is coated in oil or better. they were right. some of us want healthy options. the salmon is baked in butter. instead of the flavorful whole talapia baked they have dried out little filets of fish. very disappoint. will never go again.
This place has below average food for the price. The selection is very limited for 13 dollars on the weekends. There isnt much original chinese food and the food is your average americanized dishes except for some dishes. I recently ate at the Super Asian Buffet that just opened up across the street and they have a much better selection at the same prices. If you are looking for a good chinese restaurant that offers some very traditional dishes thats your best bet. The new place has a same setup as Hibachi, but they have more buffet bars and more food.
This food at this place is seriously gross. It’s one ginormous trough of fried, previously frozen food. Nothing was fresh. There were kids picking sushi off the buffet with their fingers and putting it back…blech.
About average. Better than most in this area, which is generally hurting for good Chinese food. Let’s face it. We’re a long way from LA. Black pepper chicken is very good. So isn’t the salt and pepper shrimp Good desserts for kids and family friendly.
