The Morrisville Branch is a highly unprofessional place from the employee to the owner, Shipra Jain. She has no respect for her customers, or her business. The overall place is not clean, or worthy of having a nice meal. I highly suggest that if you care for your health and your families health do not order anything from here. I ordered cake, and it got my son very sick to the point I had to take to him to the hospital. When I brought this to the owner’s attention Shipra Jain, she denied the cake was bad and preceded to be extremely disrespectful and rude. She had no sense of acknowledgment of the bad service and product she provided. Along with that, she refused to give me my product that I paid for back or the money. She was well aware that the product was bad and it will jeopardize her and her business. At the end of the day it is not about the money or the bad cake she provided. All she had to do was acknowledge the fact that it was a bad cake and given a simple apology and that would have been the end of it. But the lack of service and unprofessional attitude, I would not suggest any one to go there or eat their food. Family time and good food should be eaten at a respectable place with respectable owners/employees, Hot Bread Cafe is not the place to do that nor is Shipra Jain. We live in a big Indian community, I assure you there are far more better places out their for you to eat and have a respectable time with good food
I was so happy to stumble upon this place while looking for a snack before a movie. Between the two of us we tried the Chicken Roll, the Samosa Chaat and the Paranthas. Everything seemed really fresh and came out piping hot. The chicken was really tasty, the paranthas came with a curry and made a full meal. We could have been slightly happier with the samosa chaat, because it came out a bit sweeter then I would have liked but this was easy enough to fix. The lady behind the counter was pleasant enough and the place was very clean. I look forward to going back.
Spicy food and bad attitude of the staff. There is a huge scope of improvement for this place. First, it’s way too spicy. A normal spicy food lover might also find it difficult to eat. They almost make it inedible. Specially the dabeli and sev puri. I had to ask for additional sweet chutney to make it edible. I also saw few others asking for sweet chutney. Second, the attitude of the staff is not friendly at all. Which makes the experience even worse. The only thing we liked was pastry. To be specific, Pineapple pastry. It was fresh and delicious. Considering the attitude of the staff, we won’t like to visit this place again.
Dahi Puri –wow!. This is a nice little bakery (with Wi-Fi–yay!). The mango cake is awesome, the teas are good… the pani puris are fiery hot and delicious… but my love for this place were the dahi puris– holy cow (that’s my one liner from my Minnesota friends). They are made FRESH… the flaky puffs are warm, the yogurt cold, the sweet-tangy sauce is just what you need. Perfect for catering— but you need to pick it up just before you go so they don’t get soggy. Great place!
