My husband and I love La Shish and come here often! It’s one of our favorite date night spots. The environment is intimate and romantic and the food is amazing! We are never disappointed. I would come here for the food alone, but the owner and servers go above and beyond to be sure you leave happy!

Awesome owners, awesome food, especially real gyro meat!. My wife and I went back to La Shish tonight for about the 4th time. It was so good that I decided to write a review, which is a first. Their spanokopita is hand-made and very good. It has been part of each of our 4 visits. Tonight, I got the double gyro with chicken schwarma, gyro meat, and tabbouleh. The gyro meat is the best I’ve had in 10 years and the best I’ve had here in the triangle, including the International Greek Festival at the fairgrounds. The meat was off a spit like it should be, perfectly flame browned on one side, and moist because of higher fat content like it should be. I was in heaven.Lastly, they recently started getting a better pita bread; they used to source Neomonde. The current pita is very thin (I like the less carbs) and tasty. Especially with the black bean hummus.The husband and wife owners are very personable, and really care what you think. We discovered this place because of a living social coupon; we go back because its great food. It is definitely worth your time.
This place is SO DELICIOUS. You would seriously be missing out if you didn’t go. The owners are so nice, we love them! The service is excellent, the food is authentic and superb. Treat yourself
First trip to this restaurant and we experienced good food but owner was quite rude. Giving her the benefit of the doubt we returned and once again had good food and still a rude owner who doubled as the server. We won’t return.
Lovely restaurant and service. We have eaten regularly at La Shish for the last few years. The food is constantly excellent, prices are good, and service has been both kind and friendly. If anything, we’ve been shocked at the level of rudeness and childish behavior exhibited by a few other customers that were unfortunately at the restaurant the same time we were. Anyone who has worked in a public-facing job probably knows what I’m talking about. Go to La Shish, enjoy the great food and ignore the infantile criticisms.
The food had a great taste to it! Unfortunately the service was pretty poor. A woman, maybe the owner, was very short ad rude. She acted almost upset that we were not ready to order after looking at the menu for only a few minutes. Not so sure I’ll return just because of the service.
