  Dirty. Old. Understaffed. Depressing. Food was marginally ok. Rice was good. Surprised by free ice cream for desert. Will not go back. Prefer Panda Express.

  Got Stuck in the Twilight Zone – Horrible Experience!. My husband & I went to Little Tokyo on 3/21/15 at about 8:30. Since there was a wait, I tried to give our names to the lady at the counter but she kept her head down. We waited for AN HOUR without ever being acknowledged. Most diners had finished eating & were waiting for their checks, & there were several uncleared tables. After 45 minutes, a party of 4 walked in. The lady motioned them to sit in the waiting area. Finally, a man appeared & began bussing a couple of tables, then he motioned to the party of 4. The woman shook her head no, so I thought she was going to seat us – instead we all continued to sit there while they bussed all the tables in the restaurant. It was almost 10 pm when we were finally seated & our drink order was taken. I asked a question about their sushi special, & the woman threw a sushi list & a pen at me. The next thing we knew she was taking the dinner order for the party of 4, so we finished our drinks & left. The woman gave my husband a business card that said they would give us $5 off our next meal – are you kidding me?!? That is just LAME!! If she wanted to smooth things over, why didn’t she bring us a free sushi roll?? Or offer a discount on the spot?? The food is possibly good here, but I’ll never know because of her rude, disrespectful treatment.
