I won’t be back!. I went to Los Tres about 3 weeks ago and was looking forward to a nice filling meal. The enchiladas came out and where swimming in lettuce and red watery sauce. When I say unedible I am not kidding. I would have been better off going to Taco Bell. Well live and learn.
Average Mexican food coupled with consistently poor service.
Best in Cary possibly the Triangle. Service is fantastic and the food is outstanding. I always order the chicken tacos. These are the best chicken tacos. Never greasy and great flavor. The mexican rice is also fluffy not loaded down with oil. The only thing that needs improving is their salsa. It’s a little bland but still the chips make up for it. If you want cheap good mexican eats this is your place.
Not all Mexican restaurants are created equal, and this one is my favorite! Delicious food, reasonable prices, a colorful atmosphere, and attentive/friendly wait staff. Love love love Los Tres!
Pretty Average. Good atmosphere, very good service, average menu, average food, good prices. I had the Quesadilla Deluxe, okay I guess. Chips weren’t too bad, and the salsa was quite good, nice and spicy. Wife reported ‘okay’ on the Speedy Gonzales. Oh, I almost forgot – their house margarita (rocks-salt), very, very good, and while a touch on the small side, $1.99 on Saturdays – worth going back on a Saturday just for those puppies!

Interchangeable, yes…. …but still a notch above the rest of the cookie-cutter Mexican places that are everywhere. Just one little notch.
