Civil if not particularly friendly service at brunch. Good bloody mary but rather small and pricey. Not impressed with biscuits but entres were good.

I’ve been here several times over the last 2 years, and while it used to seem like the best place in the world I am now learning that I need to tread carefully.Last year we went here to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and my mother-in-law’s. The food was excellent, the service was great, the prices were reasonable, and the environment was delightful. The service, prices and environment remain the same, but this year the food has deteriorated.1. Be careful when you order the fries- we got cold stale fries, which we had to send back, because they were nearly inedible. McDonald’s would have been better, as my father-in-law correctly pointed out.2. Their fried catfish is not always crisp and delicious- I’ve had some soggy unappetizing fish there recently, and I’m not going to repeat that.3. Sausage- we took some friends there for brunch recently, and two of us ordered a side of sausage patties. Horribly sweet, and bad texture. I’m upset that they served us this. If we hadn’t been with guests we might have said something, but mostly we were just happy that there was enough other food on the table to be able to avoid these completely.4. Biscuits- my husband was not thrilled with their breakfast biscuits- though as I pointed out they did not make many promises on those.5. Our server came by to ask if everything was ‘excellent’- which doesn’t leave you with a lot of room for an honest response. I was amused by this, but also saw it as a sign of how complacent they were.Sorry Lucky 32 but everything is not always fantastic. Most of the time it is but that doesn’t mean you can serve these joke sausage patties, or stale fries.Which is not to say that everything is awful. Their service is fast and polite. The drinks are reasonably priced. The desserts are delicious. Their meatloaf is good, as are their omelettes, ravioli, cornbread, chicken sandwich and pork crackling, and I assume, many many other things on the menu. The prices are very reasonable given how upscale the restaurant feels. But fries- if you’re that fancy you should be able to get fries right on the first try.

Average food and average service at an above average price. Eaten there I think 5 or 6times (not by my choice). There many other places with food just as good for a much better price.

Comfortable and run properly. A well run establishment, consistent good food reasonable and friendly staff.

Patron. Disappointed tonight by food and service…got the bums rush. Cleared plates too quickly when others were still eating. I think they must have needed our silver ware and glasses because they asked for all…I would have had another glass of wine, but wasn’t offered. Waitress tried to take the glass when it was not empty…didn’t fill welcome. Food was just average or below…tooooo bad

I wasn’t overly impressed with this place. Food was ok, but not worth what the check was. I had one of their summer specials and left feeling a little disappointed. I will say my boyfriend did seen to like his dish a little more than I did, and for me, the positive about this restaurant was their excellent service. Our waiter was very polite and attentive.
