BEST All Around Pub. Great food selection, quality and speed! Staff is friendly and always ready to serve. NTN trivia boxes and LIVE trivia on Tuesdays. Open mic Wednesdays and live bands Friday and Saturday. Large TV’s everywhere and a big patio!
Don’t go to Mac’s Tavern. This place has lost my business forever and everyone I can tell about our experience. We thought the patio would be fun. We found the mgr totally RUDE, a total jerk. Probably because we aren’t his regular towny customers. I can’t believe the owner can’t find someone better to run this place. Besides the smokey old musty smell of the inside, the regular clientelle is 55+. The retirement homes must bring a bus there. I’ve never seen such an old crowd anywhere in this area. The regulars can have this dive, I’m never going back.
Amazing place. Ok so i visit alot of bars, always have always will. macs hands down is the best bar in cary. they have a nice horse shoe shaped bar, pool tables, dart boards, and an outside patio thats definately the main draw. my girlfriend and I were there, and had great wings, the drink specials were more then fair, and the service was award winning, a guy named darrin was bartending and the guy is super!!! we never had an empty drink, he pushed some great shots on us, made us feel like we have been going there for years…. definately go back!!! macs is the place to be.
