No thanks!. I’m on gluten free diet and I called them in the morning to know the size of the gluten free pizza because usually it’s so small that is not even worth to order it. A lady from the restaurant answered my call and said the size was 14 inches. I decided to go for that reason, but arrived at the restaurant the menu was saying 12 inches! And the waiter when I ordered said that they changed the size and it was 10 inches!!! When I told to the guy at the front desk what happened he did not even care!Thanks that I wasted my time to go there!!! Unprofessional!!
Their gluten-free pizza crust (recipe just changed late July 2013) is terrific. Thin, crispy-chewy, good flavor. I’ve had other GF pizzas and they tasted like paste. Theirs is wonderful.
Family fun. Another of my three walk to places, you know, it’s a Mellow Mushroom, Pizza/calzones, sandwiches, salads. This one is large, as you walk in the front, the bar/patio is on your left, dining room on the right. I’m not a fan of the appetizer menu, guess I’d go with the humus if youmade me choose, I’m not a fan of the meatball or the wings, meatballs are kind of dull, and wings are oven baked so they are kind of chewy. Pizza is good, not sure what style you’d call it, but with the ability to add all kinds of topping and sauces, you can make something tasty. I like the Still Smokin’ and I really like the build your own salad option, again lots of choices. the bar is a large u shaped area, cement and broken glass make it unique. Nice variety of beer, solid North Carolina offering with some other widely available craft beer, also some bud/miller/coors types if that’s your preference. I don’t find the bar a good place to hang out, it’s more family oriented, and not a hang out and talk bar. Good if you go with some people, not as good as my other two walk to places for casual conversation, IMO
Great Pizza. Great pizza, great atmosphere. I love this place…just make sure you have time to wait.

Cary Mellow lacks it’s typical decor, but the goof was ok
Music. Nice patio dining area, but music has been very loud in and outside for a family restaurant. Perhaps music volume could be raised at night when the teens and younger adults dine,and lower vol. when families, work groups, and older patrons dine so we can TALK. Pizza quality is average to other Cary pizzas; salads are good.
