Terrible at Tryon location. If you want good pizza go to the NY Pizza on Harrison. After getting nothing but undercooked (doughy, floppy centers) pizzas from this location that are always 10 minutes later than promised, we gave up. It’s a much longer drive to the Harrison location but they make great pizzas, and have them ready by the time promised.
Best Pizza?. Voted Best pizza in Raleigh was the hype that brought me in. NY Pizza doesn’t live up to it. I ordered over the phone and was greeted by a very rude girl that took my order. The pizza had a very soggy texture in the middle when arrived. The flavor was very tasteless and very doughy. I wasn’t impressed at all especially for the money.
Great pizza, bad service. Having grown up on Long Island, I was incredibly pleased to find the Original NY Pizza Chain here in the triangle. However, perhaps their food is too good, because its putting strain on their ability to service customers, at least at the High House location. My past 3 experiences have been lackluster in terms of interaction with their wait staff.Visits 1 and 3 involved take out – both times, was told 30 to 40 minutes to pick up my pizza. Both times I showed up and had to wait over 30 minutes to get the pie as there was a backlog of orders. I drive 10 min just to get to their location. Just tell me the right time and I’ll show up. Tonight, most of the tables were full of people waiting for their food orders. Seemed that I wasn’t the only person told the wrong times,Visit 2 was worse – took my kids out to eat at the location. Arrived and told 45 min for them to make a pizza. All of the 15+ tables in the restaurant were empty. However, their take out / delivery biz capitalized on their ability to serve us. We left and found another restaurant that could take care of us. In this instance, why bother having sit down service? If you can’t slot in customers in your store and get them food in a reasonable period of time, might as well remove the tables and put in more ovens. Just turn it into a Papa John’s (order and walk out) and be done with it!.Again, their pizza’s among the best, but their success at this location is holding them back. Improve your service and improve your pizza making capacity. Otherwise, Randy’s or another decent pizza shop might as well come in across the street and siphon off your customers.
Simple place, good ZA. This is a great place to stop by for a quick slice. This is not a place you go to hang out. Not much to the inside of the place, but the pizza is NY for sure and good price too.
Grease Pizza. Not good at all . Not sure what all the hype is about . They need to spend a little more money on good cheese . The boys that are running the store in Cary ???????? Gotta wonder
A Nice Slice of Pie. This unassuming pizzeria shares a strip mall location with a Papa John’s franchise, but I can’t imagine anyone choosing a national chain over this restaurant. The ingredients were fresh and the crust had the perfect balance of crispness and chewiness. The pepperoni, black olives and onions tasted just as good the next day for a breakfast on the run.
