BEST MEXICAN FOOD AROUND. It’s authentic. Delicious. They don’t cut corners or take shortcuts. And it’s cheap. If you want ambiance, go to Applebees. If you want TexMex, go to Taco Bell. But if you want truly delicious, authentic mexican food, go to Pancho Villas. You won’t regret a thing. And I personally love the down home, locally owned, non pretentious atmosphere. It’s just a simple place with good food.Get the tacos. You can’t go wrong.I honestly had a dream about eating here once. Can’t wait to go back on dollar taco night!
The real deal!. Everyone always says there wanting authentic Mexican food. Well this is it! This reminds me of the restaurants back home in TX. Food is amazing. Tacos are good and only a buck on Tuesday night. If your looking for atmosphere this is not the place for you. If your wanting to taste real south of the border Mexican this is the spot.
Great food. Louie has amazing food. Coming from Southern california I know Mexican food. this is authentic as it gets. Tortilla’s made while you are waiting.
The Taco. Finally found an authentic taco in Raleigh/Cary. This place is a lifesaver. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays they are just a buck. If you want atmosphere go to on the border, if you want food come here.
Delicious! Fabulous!. We’ve gone three times now to Pancho Villa and it’s been great each time. We like to get smaller items like empanadas and tamale. However, last evening we tried one of the specials- ribs in piuquin (or something like that) and it was so absolutely delicious that we shared every morsel. I haven’t even tried the tacos, but I’m going to try their dinner specials more often. 6/23- we went again last night for the $1 taco special. Two adults ate for 12 bucks total- 6 tacos and 1 empanada + drinks and we were too full to walk afterward. Just wanted to second my original review that this place is really really great.
This is a very authentic place. A little run down, but clearly the real deal. Hard working owners have put their life into it. So even though I voted that I did not like it, that has more to do with the chips and salsa not being spicy and the fact that they had run out of guacamole, and the chips were just not made to my liking. Had I not discovered Chubby’s a few months ago, I might have raved about this place. But sadly it cannot measure up to Chubby’s and for that reason I may nit return. But I encourage others to give it a try. Some may love this place and be jusified in their opinion, it just wasn’t what I like.
