This was the best dining experience! From the food to the service, it was excellent. Our waitress Kelly was the best waitress we have ever had! We also couldn’t believe how amazing the food was!
Food Good But….. We had heard a lot about Rey’s so we decided to go for a birthday celebration. We were greeted by a hostess who looked as if she had just decided to run to Wal-Mart. Our food was well prepared but we had the feeling that they couldn’t wait to turn the table. While everyone was polite, we felt as if their manner was a bit forced. We will be celebrating birthdays elsewhere from now on Check your bill carefully…we were charged for wine we didn’t order…they corrected the mistake promptly when it was brought to their attention…but we could have been paying for 3 bottles of wine if we hadn’t been careful.
The food, service and ambience were all ok to good. While I liked it, I don’t think I’d go back. Too many other/better fine dining opportunities in this area.
We held a year-end banquet here for a local organization. The service was FANTASTIC; however, the food was only mediocre.
Very involved owner, proffesional staff, and excellent food make for an excellent experience. My wife and I went to Rey’s tonight for the first time for our anniversary. The first thing that I noticed was the friendliness of the staff. We were greeted very cordially and our waiter, Jim, gave a very heart-felt welcome, explained the menu to us, and was perfectly pleasant and attentive throughout the evening. The menu is a-la-carte w/ family style sides (i.e. big enough to share, and they recommend this). Both of our entrees were excellent, the Au-gratin potatoes were very tasty, and, as a previous reviewer commented, the asparagus was perfect. I second the previous review that Rey, the owner, is very visible and comes by to greet each and every guest and to assure that everything is delicious. I loved this restaurant! I felt very comfortable and welcome and will be returning many times!
Very welcome!. That is the first thing about this place, the owner greets you! And the staff, amazingly pros…, the menu is predictable. Appetizers include carpaccio and scallops, a very good gumbo (Rey, altough cuban was raised in New Orleans) and we had fried calamari which were also not the most original but of a quality and freshness worth of returning.Entrees also foreseeables but again, quality and the cooking point impeccable. My lamb a little too much sauced but exactly the medium rare I asked. Wine list varied and on the logical side of price. Will recommend, will be back and will remember. Asparragus prefectly steamed. May I say more?
We have been going to Rey’s for over 5 years. Their entire staff is amazing. The food is excellent, the service is always top-notch. It is a great place for a romantic date, a business dInner or a casual group outing. We are huge fans of Rey’s and recommend it to neighbors, friends and clients. Never disappointed. They monopolize the market on private rooms, too. At least 4 that come to mind…. Some smaller and intimate and some big enough for company parties or a reception. GO! You won’t be sorry!
