Nice place very similar to a sports bar. Very friendly staff and they have goid knowledge of the menu. The fokd is really good, the burgers are juicy cooked as requested and full of flavors. Appitizers are good as well and the fresh cocktails are outstanding. Must try it.
NC has no smoking in bars and restaurants. However ruckus gets around it by putting tables on the sidewalk directly on the other side of the inside seating and sieving people there. So while trying to enjoy sitting outside we were overwhelmed with smoke. When I asked the waitress about it she said there was nothing she could do so we left. We used to go weekly but will not be back
BEER/WINE DINNER 3/3/15. Last night I had the pleasure to attend Beer and Wine dinner at Ruckus in Cary and I was totally WOWED. I have gone to several of these events and all have been wonderful, but this one by far was the best. The beer, wine and food were all products of our great State. The lobster bisque was loaded with fresh lobster and the bisque was rich with flavor (if I thought I could have gotten away with it, I would have licked my bowl). The arugula with champagne vinaigrette, goat cheese, candied beets and artichokes was fabulous. I have had my fair share of filets, but the one I had last night served over feta chicken sausage and spinach potato cake was absolutely delicious. The filet was so tender I cut it with my fork. Just when I thought I couldn’t eat another bite, chocolate mousse with homemade almond lady fingers was served and it was a delight. The beer and wine were paired with each courses like they were made just to go together. My hats off to the chef (Scott) and his staff, Ryan Reavis and all that worked so hard. Hear, Hear…job will done. I will certainly attend the next and the next and the next dinners.29 Aug, 2012Great Job Ruckus. I had a wonderful experience at Ruckus pair a course with beer (9/28/12). The food was absolutely superb and all four courses were splendidly paired with the beer. I am inspired to try this at home.
