I have been to this restaurant many many times and as always the food and the selection was great. The 2 girls who are the waitresses have always been very friendly and attentive to our needs. They keep our drinks full and are right on top of picking up used plates. I like all the chicken choices they offer from regular to spicy what ever you like and my daughter loves the frog legs and fish. I have meet the owner many times and he has always been very friendly to us. He has on occasion cooked up something special for us upon request. They always have coupons in a couple different fliers that come in the mail making it a cheap night out for my family.
Mediocre Food and very poor service. We have been going to Super Asian buffet for the 2 or 3 years that we’ve lived in the area. While the food was always mediocre, we went mainly because it was one of the closest restaurants to us, and it had a relaxing atmosphere. However, when we went to the restaurant recently, we received terrible service and as a result, we will not be going back. Firstly, on prior visits, the staff let us sit in the area in the back as we have a young toddler with us and don’t want to disturb other guests. However, on our recent visits, they’ve been increasingly reluctant to let us sit there, and on this occasion, they flagrantly lied to us by telling us there was somebody sitting there when in fact that area was completely empty. However, that was not the main fault of this restaurant. When we arrived at our table, we presented them with dinner coupons and were told that they would not be necessary as it was 3:45, and dinner prices did not begin until 4:00 pm. We were fine with that, so we got settled and went off to the bathroom to change the toddler’s diaper. When we got back, they said that it was dinner prices even though they’d told us it was lunch when they seated us, and it was still before 4:00 pm when we came back from changing the toddler’s diaper. After requesting to pay lunch prices -as that is what we were told- they obstinately refused and treated us very rudely. Consequently, we walked out of the restaurant at that time and will not be returning. This complete disrespect and lack of service is absolutely shocking especially considering that we’ve visited many, many times over the years and have paid hundreds of dollars in their restaurant. The price difference was a couple of dollars, and what was most upsetting was not the difference in price but the complete lack of flexibility and rudeness of the staff. We are very local to the area, but after this experience, we will not be returning because of this experience. With regards to the food, it is very average quality and is definitely not worth it. It is comparable to Chinese takeaway or mall food, and I have probably in fact had better experiences with Chinese takeaway than at this restaurant. There are many other superior Chinese restaurants in this area with both better food and service. As a whole, I would definitely recommend that traveller’s look elsewhere for Asian cuisine as this place has gone greatly downhill in terms of both food and service.

Best Chinese Buffet (so far) in the Triangle. I’ve tried many. Some just plain bad. Some mediocre. Many with bad service or other problems.My daughter & I decided to give Super Asian Buffet a try. Good food, with many nice choices including decent sushi and some unusual items (frog’s legs.) Of equal importance: bright, clean environment and friendly service.No, if you frown upon Americanized Chinese buffet food, this won’t convince you otherwise. What could, really?But if you like the occasional Chinese buffet, this is the best I’ve found in the area so far.
Good food and great value. Good clean place with great variety of food selection. Cold dishes, hot dishes, sushi, several selection of made-to-order noodle soaps and pick-your-own hibachi grill fry noodle, etc. variety of desserts, fruits, jello and ice-cream. they also have the more exotic stuff like fried frog legs and baby octopus salad if you are adventurous. they even have a separate dinning room that can fit in 20-30 people for big private parties.
