I’m on the fence…. *sigh*… I use to frequent this TGI Friday’s a few times a month and it was always an OK place. I think the only reason we went so much was because we had good lunch or dinner deals come through via email and punch cards for free lunch. Kind of a good deal if you ask me. I haven’t been in months and decided to go tonight with an old friend. They make us wait in an empty restaurant while they bus a table. A couple walks in a minute after us and gets sat right away! This blew my mind! The same table they sat at, I could have sat at. The food was OK. I paid $18 for ribs and they were just OK. The sides are nothing but potatoes. The veggies taste like microwaved bagged veggies that I can get from Wal-Mart. It’s sad that I have to get two sides of potatoes (fries and mash) because nothing else is worth it. The service was good. We had guy named Hasani(sp?) and he was very attentive and delivered good service. It’s sad that if I went back, I would go back for his service and not the food. 🙁 TGI has a lot of catching up to do.

Not what it used to be. Friday’s used to be a cut above other chain wood-and-fern haunts. Now the menu is no more original or custom made than any drive through service. It’s still a decent place to please a variety of tastes, but the increase in prices is ridiculous for the quality of food they now serve. Not gluten-free, but they will work with you to find a safe meal.

Average food, below average service. Even by TGIF low standards, this one is poor.
