Curry Chicken. I ordered the curry chicken with green beans and spicy pinto beans. My wife had the vegetarian sampler. This meal was fantastic! Really neat restaurant without the high price and long wait. This will be one of my regulars!
Chicken Curry. Clean, Fresh and melts in your mouth. The rice is always cooked perfectly.22 Sep, 2014Great family owned fusion. Came here on accident and I was very impressed. Owner is very friendly and passionate about his food. it is perfect place to get fast, fresh and healthy food.
Kristina. Amazing quality. I’ve been coming to this place for over 5 years now and it has to be my favorite restaurant. Fresh, authentic dishes for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. The owner and his family take a lot of pride in preparing and serving and always great me with a smile. Highly recommended. I only wish they would open up a place near Raleigh, but it’s worth the drive!
Did not eat here, so didn’t like or dislike- what we did do is drive out of our way based on the high rating and we disappointed to find a very small buffet with little variety and which did not seem very fresh. We decide to try somewhere else instead…
You’re never sure what you’ll get…. I’ve been there several times over the last year, and it’s always a roll of the dice as to the mood of the owner. Some days, he’s been friendly and pleasant. Other days, he’s been openly surly. What originally drew me in was the lunch buffet. Again, this too is a crap shoot. I always wondered if it wasn’t a way to clear out perishable food from the night before. The food quality was always decent, but there was no sense of predictability to it. The first time I was there, for example, there was an abundance of stuffed grape leaves on the buffet. Even the photos here show them on the line. Every time I went after though, there were none on the buffet, but I could always have bought a side of them, the owner suggested. Replenishing food on the buffet line in a timely manner (if at all) is also a crap shoot. Again, I saw days where items were out, people were waiting and asking for it, and more was never put out. What finally turned me off to the restaurant was one afternoon when the owner wasn’t there and the crew shut the lunch buffet down at 1:30. There was still food on it. It was before two. I explained that I made a special trip out, but the guy behind the register didn’t care. He gave me a menu and said I could order ala carte…as other patrons walked up and ate.Language/cultural barrier really isn’t an excuse here. Customer service knows no specific language. It’s either good or bad, and Urban Turban’s is way too unpredictable to venture the drive out–especially not with places like Jasmin and Greek Fiesta far closer to Cary.
Awesome Sunday brunch! Food is always great! And the staff are friendly!
