We arrived with a party of four to Tonys on a Saturday at 11am. The doors were locked and there was no one inside. At 11:15 and a call to the restaurant we left. If you state on signs and your site you open everyday at lunch- you should.
Great,Awesome,Fantastic. My boyfriend and I took his mom which is soon to be my mother-n-law here for her birthday. When we first got there we were like wow this is pretty cool spot in a cut. It had a very nice atmosphere and the wait staff were very sweet quick to respond to your needs. My mother-n-law was intrigued by the gator bites and she said she may try them but In stead once looking at the menu the Jambalaya caught her attention ..my honey looked on the special board and the 12oz ribeye and Cajun shrimp caught his eye..me on the other hand got the three combo special of shrimp,scallops,flounder ..all of us enjoyed our meals we were all very very happy and full. I have to admit there were two to go plates that had to be taken home. I think this place will continue to be around with the right advertisement and people spreading the word. Oh by the way the hush puppies were off the chain. Good luck to the owners of this business and I shall return.
Good oysters. Been going for several years and the oysters are always very good – they can’t control size, so if they’re small at times, oh well. so glad they painted the place again — that stark white didn’t provide much of an atmosphere. be careful of 1/2 apps at happy hour – just went back after at least 8 mos since last visit and ordered apps before the steamed oysters to find out only certain apps are really 1/2 price..they need to tighten up on their advertising..annoying, but we pd it and went on. know better next time.
Awesome oysters!. Love Tony’s! Their oysters are fresh and cheap, their lunch specials are a great deal, and their staff is very friendly. It is a great find for seafood in the Triangle.
I went there for lunch today after hearing about their $6 lunches. This was a huge disappointment. I was there for over an hour just for a cheeseburger and fries. The food was dry and unenjoyable. The service was horrendous. I think my table (of only two people) had possibly four different people helping. Out of the four people we still had to ask twice for the lunch menu, only get one refill on our drinks, get charged extra for fries that came with the cheeseburger for six bucks. And we had to find a different waitress at the ouster bar to take our money. Our waitress never came back to the table after giving us the check. I know the swrvice isn’t this horrible for dinner, but this horrible experience at lunch will keep me from recommending this place to anyone and will keep me from visiting again.
Used to really like this place, but then they changed the menu. Very disappointed on my last visit & probably won’t return.
Met my Husband there 11 years ago. We will never forget that night. A get together and meeting new people. I found my soulmate for life. Can’t wait to visit again. Food was good too. Thanks
