This is the worse restaurant ever. This is the slowest most nasty staff place I have ever visited. The manager is HORRIBLE and the owner could care less. Please during these hard economic times chose somewhere to go where you are appreciated as a CUSTOMER!
New to Cary. I recently visited Woody’s in Cary with my husband for dinner. We were worried we wouldn’t be able to find a seat to watch his game, but there isn’t a seat in the house where you can’t see an excellent view of any game playing! While he watched the game I was able to play darts, pool, and golden tee!! I ordered the tuna steak sandwich and he ordered the pork platter – we were both extremely pleased! If you are an onion ring lover, it is a must on the menu as well! Overall, we were both pleased with our experience and plan on making it our local watering hole!!
Best bar in cary. It’s nice to go to a bar with familiar faces, tastey food and a fun atmosphere. With so much to do (pool, games, tons of TVs to watch) and a friendly staff, I always leave satisfied and looking forward to my next visit. I would recommend this bar to anyone who is searching for a bar where everyone knows your name!!08 Jan, 2011Great food. Woody’s has some of the best food i have ever had at a sports bar. The sandwichs are super! They are huge and the sides are very generous. I myself am i huge fan of the California Club with some tater tots! I love eating the wings too while watching a college basketball game! The service is prompt and friendly and that is what makes me a repeat customer
The Reuben and Cheese Fries. The Reuben and cheese fries at Woody’s Sport Tavern is delicious and is even better when I’m there with my friends and family watching our favorite team win. The waitresses were awesome and on top of everything. I’d recommend Woody’s Sport Tavern and Grill to anyone looking for good food and a great time!
Great Food, Beer, & Service!. Recently my family & I came into Woody’s for dinner. All their appetizers were half priced from 4-6pm. The sampler basket and queso dip was awesome! They also had a huge variety of food on their menu so everyone got something they liked. The waitresses were all very friendly and helpful recommending food & beer to try on the menu. They have an awesome list of draft beers with guest taps that they switch out frequently. Everyday is a different beer and shots special. We counted over 25 TVs in there, definitely coming back to watch the Patriots and Celtics win!
Great Sports Bar!. Great sports bar atmosphere. Fairly dimly lit interior with a lot of bar memorabilia on the walls. Good sized bar with plenty of seating for people in the main dining area, their private luxury suite, the upstairs area with couches and more tvs, the outside patio, and of course the bar itself. They have plenty of widescreen TV’s and always have every game on to watch. Food is really good and the best time to go is during 11-2 which all their lunch specials are under $8 with tax and drink included, or from 4-6, half off appetizers. I been during both and there is plenty to choose from! The service is great, the ladies there are always so helpful and really get to know their customers. They always bring me my bottle of Dos XX seconds within me walking in. I never have to wait for the food and it always tastes great! Thanks to the good wait staff and bartenders, everything seems to always run smoothly even when they have a packed house.All in all, one of my favorite places to meet friends. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
