Im a big fan. I love Julia’s. Great coffee and a wonderful space to sit and get some work done. This is my standard place to go on saturday or if I dont have to be on campus on friday. Its close by where we live. Sometimes its cool to peruse the books. Sometimes I just get coffee. Sometimes its coffee and a nice baked item. The only negative as fas as Im concerned is being closed Sunday. Great place!
Best Coffee House in Charlotte. This place is so awesome. Can it get any better? Great coffee, organic and fair trade beans, super friendly staff, the best selection of used book to browse at great price and it is connected to a great cause. The atmosphere is also great, plenty of tables, upstairs seating, window spots and good lighting. Best coffee shop in Charlotte hands down!
Hidden Gem. Periodically I like to visit the Habitat for Humanity Restore for odds and ends. They always have some cool stuff. The first few times I stopped I bypassed their in-store coffee shop. C’mon, coffee from the Restore? I don’t know if it was thousands of books, the aisle of pastries, or the smell of their Fair Trade coffee, but I finally decided to venture into this little side shop, now, if I am in the area, this is where I get my coffee fix.Very good coffee, friendly service, a ton of books to shop for or read while you drink, this is simply a charming little place that few know about. Seek Julia’s. The proceeds go to a great cause and the coffee is pretty darn good as well.
