Rooting for you guys. I’ll like to start off saying that I’m a big fan of La Unica franchise. I’ve been going to several of their locations for the past 12 years. Let me also say that I’m Mexican American and am no stranger to authentic Mexican food. With that said, I was so disappointed with the food and service at this location. As soon as we entered, the host met us without a hello or greeting. He just waved us on and led us to a table and placed menus on the table and went on his way. I had to ask him for a child seat because he didn’t take the time to notice the toddler and diaper bag in my arms. We started off with an order of ceviche. The portions were very small for the price. Instead of filling up the plate they compromised with beds of lettuce on both ends. We ordered the torta de Milanesa and steak fajitas as entrees with 2 margaritas. The lime margarita was great but we didn’t taste any alcohol in the frozen strawberry margarita. We mentioned this to the waitress but she assured us that there was but it just taste like there isn’t. The torta was mediocre. I have no complaints but also no praise either. It was a torta. Not the best and not the worst. The steak fajitas were just ok. The Flavor was decent but the steak and onions was in small squared like for tacos and not cut Into strips for traditional fajitas. We dined In on a Saturday night and the restaurant was mostly empty and I can’t help to have an idea why. I’m rooting for them because I’ve had great experiences at other locations and would like to have one here but today. Wasn’t our night.
