Just saw a review about Dana (the owner) a daughter… If you were talking about Loren she was not working that day. Or anyday. She is very nice and helpful as is her mother who is the lovely owner of this sweet little hole in the wall. You must be mistaken. Anyway… Lovely place! I heard a rumor of some new things to come such as more seating which I cannot wait to see. Dana has such a small kitchen it’s amazing she gets anything done. This cafe is one neat little place. But keep in mind folks it’s a cafe not a diner so be patient. One woman cannot do it all herself! Support local business!

Such a great place to grab lunch! Try the loaded baked potato soup! It’s homemade and to die for! Also the chicken salad is great too, Dana also makes the best cheesecakes! Oh and you must have a cup of their coffee it’s fantastic! A friend of mine dragged me here a couple of months ago and I have found that this little hole in the wall is such a fantastic place with a great staff! Sometimes it can be a little slow because the kitchen is so small but the great food makes up for the wait.
Nice place for lunch. We had chicken sandwiches and salads. I’ll definitely go back. Prices are reasonable. Total bill for two sandwiches and a salad was under $22.00
I love Carm’s. Great sandwiches and salads, but save room for dessert!!! I could eat the whole Hummingbird Cake!
The Best Cafe in Cabarrus County!. I happened to be in downtown Concord last week and came across the most charming cafe I’ve been to in a long time. Carm’s cafe is a family owned and operated cafe with delicious, fresh food prepared with quality ingredients. Not to mention, it is by far the CLEANEST eatery I have ever been too. Carm has an amazing personality and she and her family make every customer feel welcomed and you leave their feeling like part of the family. I higly recommend that you visit Carm’s Cafe ASAP. Be sure to try any sandwich as a panini–I like the Panino Pompeii! They also have beautifil cookie trays for the holidays! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed; Carm’s Cafe is more than just an eatery, it’s an expereince!
