Just business. The previous commenter is not entirely correct. This is a restaurant that sells food and drink, when you purchase a coffee and then bring in outside food and drink you’re not a customer. Try that at another restaurant and see if you’ll be asked to leave.

But, that is what this is about…. i will first off, tell you about a group of people that every morning get up, meets at the local coffee shop. They go over the issues issues of the day. They charge their phones or laptops, just like all customers may do… just like the oldtimes who take up the front talbe in the window. Now let me tell you these wonderful people for one situation or another living at the Salvation Army Shekter. But, so you undertand, these people are paying customer, not just taking up a table… they are respectful of others… they for the most part all go to work… NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK PEOPLE MAYBE ITS NOT RIGHT TO DISCRIMINATE. … The may think this group can not fight back but, they can abd their voice is and will be louder then his…
I like Ellies because the coffee is fresh and so is the food. Lunch is served fast and with a smile and the icedtea is really good. The chicken soup won first place in the downtown festivals soup contest and is a must try. The smoothies are the best I ever had, my whole family can find somthing they like and its also very inexpensive.
Ellie’s is a great place eat, get at nice hot beverage, wine or just hang out with friends. Food is over-the-top!
