Its good not great but pretty good. The best thing this place has going for it is the lunch special. The amount of food for the price cannot be beat. The staff leave a little to be desired, not entirely bad bu t could use a refresher course at a busy restaurant so they can learn to multitask.
Best pizza in Concord!. We just ordered a pizza online and had a great experience from start to finish. We just moved to the area, and have noticed that our only pizza options that will deliver to us are Papa Johns and Dominos. We discovered that Garofola’s will deliver to our location and we just HAD to try them. I called them to make sure the order went through, and they were so pleasant on the other end of the phone (and made suggestions as well). They gave me a time that I should expect the order to be delivered, and the guy arrived sooner rather than later. The guy that delivered was so friendly! The pizza, garlic knots, and the Zeppolis were AMAZING! I can honestly say that I wont be ordering pizza (or any other yummy Italian food for that matter) through anyone other than Garofola’s. I’m impressed!
They deliver! That alone makes it good. It’s a nice alternative to pizza and Chinese food
Will Not Return. I will not return to Garofola’s, in large part due to awful customer service from one of the owners (a blonde female). The restaurant was under-staffed, resulting in inattention and errors. The usual $2 upcharge for a side of fettucini alfredo, appeared as $2 and then $2.25 on the check. The owner explained that one charge was for the fettucini instead of spaghetti and the other was for the alfredo sauce instead of marinara. I explained how we had paid only $2 in the past, how the side dish came out incorrect and had to be sent back (they originally served marinara) and how it was extremely salty. There was no apology, no price adjustment, and instead an insistence on my giving her the names of waiters that only charged $2 in the past. I did not give names, as the servers are nice and working hard in an under-staffed restaurant. I like good food and will pay well for it, when things are right. However, this place has ok food, not great service, not great ambiance (a half- step up from a pizza place) , too many ridiculous upcharges, and is over-priced. For two of us to eat, with sweet teas, we paid $47.32. Yet, the owner wouldn’t do anything to remedy the situation and continue to get our business. She should really get her priorities straight. She lost a customer over $2! A customer paying $47.32 and having all of the problems we did, surely deserves better!
I have been here a few times now and have enjoyed the food each time. It comes out piping hot from the kitchen just like freshly made food should. The servers werent to bad either.
Bland not worth your money or time. my husband and i saw good and bad reviews and decided to try it for ourselves. so we went there last night and we were just disappointed. The place is not very clean and if you sit at a table near the kitchen I see the girls in the kitchen messing with their hair and the guys taking their hats off and the owner seems to be more worried about her 80s fashion and how big she can make her hair than upgrading things in her restaurant. She wears way too much makeup and needs to focus more on her employers. The cashiers just stand around and don’t do anything. My waitress kept disappearing for long periods of time and when I asked what was taking so long she said she didn’t know. When my food came out it was all wrong but by that time I just ate it and left. I asked for the manager and she never came and disappeared until I left. My husband and I were astonished at how we were treated and how the wait staff was so oblivious as to how long it was taking for frozen food to be heated and brought out. I couldn’t figure out if it was a family restaurant or a sports bar?Things were way over priced and I’ve had better for way less. Next time we will make the drive to giannis, or dinos for some excellent italian!
Horrible!!!. My husband and i went in for lunch 2 days ago at about 3:30. I ordered a meatball hero and my husband ordered rigatoni and meatballs. My husbands meal came with soup. The waitress brought my food to the table and said my husbands food would be out soon. About 5 minutes later she brought his soup which was so hot he burned himself. About 5 minutes later she came back and apoligized that his order was taking so long but the owner was having problems sending something on the computer and he said to offer my husband a drink. My husband advised he doesn’t drink alcohol and that it was only 4:oopm My husbands food finally arrived and was absolutely disgusting. The pasta was so overcooked that it all broke apart on the plate when you treid to pick it up with a fork and the sauce was oily and once again, boiling hot so he burned his mouth again. The waitress never came back to ask how everything was and we even had to get up and go to the register to get our check. They didnt even comp my husbands soda and when i told the waitress how gross the food was, she didnt even respond to. And the sad thing is…we were the only people there. It wasnt even busy!!!!! I will NEVER go back! Bad food AND bad service!!
