Turkey and Dressing. It goooood
Classic cafeteria with quality food, friendly service. Generous portions. A standard in the community. Favorites include turkey and cornbread dressing (don’t forget the cranberry sauce), chicken pot pie, country style steak and gravey. Plenty of freshly prepared salads and vegetables. Dessert favorites include the egg custard and apple pies. Sometimes crowded after church on Sunday and Wednesday. A rather senior following enjoying a nice dinner. Join the crowd. Enjoy.
Maintained Consistency over the Years. One of my neighbors was President/CEO of K & W before he passed away several years ago. Under his directions, all of the K&W’s were consistently excellent, particulary the way they served their customers.In general, most of the stores have lost that zeal and pursuit of excellence. This is the exception.Store is the way K&W used to be. People are friendly, people will go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. The food is good and there is still attnetion to detail.If the rest of the stores had kept their standards up, I would still be a patron across the board. Today, this is one of the few that I still patronize and I would recommend this store to anyone.As I said, food quality+service+cleanliness+price = value and this is truely one of the place were you can get value.
