Friendly staff, great ambience and tasty food. Have visited this place many times and never been disappointed. Enchiladas and guacamole are our favorites.

Decent. Service was excellent! Drinks were good. Food was decent. I could tell that our food had sat under a heat lamp. Fresh veggies should never be hot. Plate was very very hot.

Service was great, but the food is terrible. Honestly the worst Mexican I have eaten.

Not Impressed. I went to On The Border for lunch today because I wanted to use a gift card I received at Christmas, and I wasn’t all that pleased with my food. I ordered the 2 for $7.49 combo – chicken soft taco and beef empanadas – which also comes with tortillas and salsa, black beans, and rice. The rice tasted like nothing and was dry. The black beans were OK. The tortillas and salsa was average. The chicken soft taco was really soggy, and was mostly lettuce. Hardly any chicken at all. The beef empanadas were almost hollow when you bite into it, and had a lot more cheese than beef inside. The outside was a little overcooked. The best part of the meal was the part that comes free anyway…the tortillas and salsa. And those were just your average chips and salsa, nothing special. I still have more money left on my gift card, but I don’t imagine I’ll be back to spend it at On The Border.

Amazing fajitas. More southwest and less authentic mexican this restaurant still boast some impressive food. I have tried plenty on the menu but the best of the best has always been the fajitas. Get the baja blend of veggies and some steak with some corn tortillas and you’ll feel like you reached nirvana. The tableside quacomole is delicious tho I prefer it served slightly chilled. The chips and salsa are average and the staff is more than helpful. Overall its a great restaurant to go an unwind. thefakefoodie.com
