  Would give less than one star if possible. Long please read. Vincent Aufiero was MOD(Manager on Duty) this fine night. It was our anniversary so I decided to take my wife out. 7:00pm reservation. Left there at 8:30 Hungry. Waitress was awesome…no fault of hers. Took an hour for our dinner to arrive…Ordered Prime Rib medium rare…Came out well done. Sent it back. The waitress came back out with another Prime Rib well done again. She was told this was the rarest they can make it. So I asked for the Manager, Vincent came over and I explained to him what my problem was and he said he would see if he could get the kitchen to make my Prime Rib to moo…Not a professional response. By this time my wife had finished her dinner at my request. Vincent came back to the table after a few mins and said they only had well done Prime Rib to offer. He offered to comp us a free dessert. Hold on I have not eaten dinner yet. We declined…asked if he would comp our appetizer instead. He agreed and joked that he would not charge me for the Prime Ribs I sent back. I ignored this comment payed for our meal. Embassy Suites would have expected more out of you! #embassysuitesdontgo #embassysuites.com

  All of the food that I have had in the Charlotte area up until tonight had been very good. My experience at the Rocky River Grille was not positive. The only reason I gave a score of two was because the service was good. I had the fire roasted chicken which was way over cooked. My baked potato was very crispy from being overcooked on the bottom. My asparagus was way overcooked. The only entree item that was pretty good was the poblano slaw but it was not included the first time the plate came out. The Amuse and chicken and corn wonton were pretty good. When the slaw didn’t come out initially the server explained that there was a new chef. We should’ve paid for new chef prices.

  Skip this place!. Skip this place for the Queen City Feast’s restaurant week. For $30 you get a mediocre meal with inferior food. The chicken was boring and under seasoned and the strawberry lime tart was entirely too tart with an extremely hard crust. I’ve definitely experienced much better at other restaurants participating in the Queen City Feast.

  If you find youself in Concord, NC, do youself a favor and go to the Rocky River Grill and get the shrimp and grits. You will not be disappointed.

  Pretty good. I took my girlfriend here for restaurant week. The appetizers were kind of weak, chowder was just ok, and her salad wasn’t anything to write home about. I had the pork chops and she had the tournedous steaks. The pork chop was killer! I was quite impressed. Her steaks were very tender and good. Rocky River shined with its desserts…. my girlfriend LOVES desserts, particularly cupcakes. So when she said the red velvet cupcake was the best dessert she had ever had, that is pretty impressive. The chocolate cake was really good too. As for the atmosphere, it was at a hotel. They do their best to separate you from other things going on, but to expect that there will not be any other noise is just silly. Overall I think this place is pretty darn good.
