This place is amazing fresh and always the biggest rolls ever! Worth the money.
Love it!! The food and service are always great. It is the only restaurant I end up going to every week! When my daughter comes home from college it is the first place she wants to go!
Excellent Sushi, HORRIBLE Service!! We went for Valentines and they certainly didn’t prepare for it even though they advertised specials. I saw my server once when he took our order (I’m glad we ordered everything at once) and we never got our bill. After 30 minutes I ended up waking to the hostess station and waited there until they gave me my bill. There were several couples waiting to be seated. You would think they would want to turn our table over to seat them. My return is questionable. May just do take out from now on.
No service in an empty restaurant?. My husband and I used to go to Yama once or twice every few weeks. The Sushi is good, but the slow service finally made me upset this last visit. I waited 30 minutes for my check when we were one of only two or three tables seated in the entire restaurant. When we finally got our check, the waitress walked away and did not come back to get our credit card for another ten or fifteen minutes. What I don’t understand is the fact that there were three members of wait staff and a manager in an empty restaurant, but no one stepped up to get things moving for us. On top of that, they knew we were stuck waiting for them because our waitress apologized very briefly and insincerely once when she finally did come by (and then abruptly disappeared again). I’m really disappointed. I liked Yama a lot. But our waitress was so rude that I am totally put off. We won’t be going back for a long time.

This appears to be the only sushi place open on Sunday in concord!! The service was great. I had the smoked squid salad and the fire roll. Squid salad was good…. The fire roll lived up to its name – spicy!! The spiciest sushi I have had. Great flavor. I will come back here again!
Yama is a wonderful restaurant my boyfriend and I went and had the Valentine’s Day Special which was 29.95 it was a great price for the amount of food we got which was gyoza, volcano roll, shrimp and chicken hibachi entree and banana tempura. The staff is friendly and great service! You can get sushi boats!
