Great Place to Browse a Book. The old sitting rooms in the library with a good book and a cup of hot coffee or tea are long gone but this is a close as you’re going to get.Tucked in the back of the local Barnes adn Nobles in Birkdale, this is a place you can relax and look over a book in peace. That said, the Coffee is excellent and is from Starbuck’s. They have a number of pastries and cookies which are very good. The sandwiches … I’ll pass on those and can not comment on them because they did not look either fresh or appealing to start with.Never the less, a great place if you’re looking for a peaceful atmosphere with a good cup of coffee, a nice sweet snack and a good book to cuddle up with. Sometines we need such experiences.
