Had an absolutely horrible chicken parm, which is my definitive test of what makes a good fast food Italian joint. Fail.

Bad pizza. Toppings for pizza were just thrown on top. Mushrooms and peppers seemed to just be picked out of a can. Not even good by Raleigh pizza standards.

The pizza is decent, but unless youre a regular or they know you by name, you will have to wait longer to get your food. When I made mention of this, after two regulars who came in after me got their larger order of food first, I was met with attitude. Rude. I will not be returning; Ill stick with Vincents.

I went here and the name had changed to Gino’s. I’d never eaten there before, but I can say I will not eat there again. I found out the hard way that they use canned green peppers. Who does that?

Better Pizza Under New Management. Since the new management took over last year the quality of the pizza, particularly the crusts, has improved greatly. The staff is friendly and there are usually specials to be had. All in all, a very good local Pizza Place.

Under New Management. I’ve worked off Glenwood for a few years and went to Schianos a few times and wasn’t very impressed. As of September 1st, 2010, they are now under new management. These guys love their foods and bring a true Italian New Yorker style and flavor to their dishes. I’ve been going back at least once a week for the last few months and very much enjoy the new brand of food they are producing. They provide the best $5 lunch you can find around the Crabtree area! Check them out!

Better than before. I ordered from Schiano’s on glenwood very rarely in the past but I tried them again recently and they were very good. I normally throw the crust away but I found that the crust in its entirety was all delicious. The sausage on the pizza is real italian sausage sliced which is way different then the crumbled up sausage I am used to getting that doesn’t even taste the same. The driver did mention that they had a new owner and pizza maker. I can taste the difference and intend to have them deliver atleast once a month.
