So disappointed. My 2nd week in Raleigh, was watching football and decided to treat myself to a pizza. I should’ve gotten a Freschettas frozen. This pizza may have well been shoe leather with a smattering of cheese and pep and so much salt it was nauseating. What an overpriced waste of money. I guess it all evens out; get warmer weather but lousy pizza. Guess I gotta fly home for the good stuff.
Tasty. We’ve only ever had pizza by the slice but it was delicious. I’m from the north so canned mushrooms on pizza is always a bit of delicious nostalgia. Their crust is perfect – probably one on the best around. Not wafer thin and not super chewy. Quality toppings. Excellent sauce. Friendly service. Clean tables. The place is usually quite busy, and a constant stream of pizza pickups were coming through the door. It can seem chaotic at times as everything is self-serve and self-bus, but I think it adds to the charm of a tiny family-owned shop.
