Awful. Don’t know how the rating is 90% good. I’m going to finish what’s edible and throw the rest of it away. tempura is heavy, some pieces are burned while others have raw batter. they got order wrong and then food isn’t even decent. avoid.
Worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Stopped by the Japan Express on Glenwood Ave. this afternoon for lunch. I can’t remember when I last had food as bad. The sushi was tasteless and boring, the spring roll was so greasy it soaked through 5 or 6 napkins, the shrimp tasted very fishy, and the fried rice left a nasty aftertaste. Don’t waste your time.
