Excellent meal period. Price maybe steep for some, but the flavors are worth every penny. A place with a real chef/owner is well worth the try and beats a chain place of comparable price. The menu was simple, not plasticized pictures of food that is over processed. The presentation was excellent. Hands down the best NY Strip I have ever eaten. I like my steak rare and it was served rare, not medium rare like most places tend to serve. Expect to drop some change, but you will be rewarded by great service, great food, and a real restaurant experience.
Great food atmosphere and a Saturday brunch. Try the braised short rib steak and cheese it’s delicious.
Great NY Strip. I attended an office party here last week and got to enjoy some very delicious food. Appetizers were served which included some of the best calamari I’ve ever had, very tender and perfectly seasoned. Lamb meatballs in a red pepper jelly were excellent as well. For my entree I tried the NY Strip, which I highly recommend if you try this place. Excellent quality cut of meat and cooked to perfection. It came a top some very creamy mashed potatoes with shiitake mushrooms and an excellent sauce Au Jus reduction. I actually don’t think that this entree was a regular menu item, but was offered for our private party event. Best part of all of this was that it was all on company dime, however I am certain to return on my own wallet to try some of the regular menu items.
Elegant dining with wonderful food!. Went to Midtown Grille for Thanksgiving tonight and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Had the turkey dinner and it wasn’t an ordinary turkey meal. The turkey was extremely moist, the gravy had flair and underneath were the creamiest mashed potatoes, all complimented with roasted vegetables and cranberry sauce. We will definitely be back to try out some other entrees. The decor is beautiful and elegantly designed with wine bottles, and the service is fantastic!
Very nice menu and location. Ate at Midtown for the first time and had a really nice dinner. Service was excellent (served by Susan), despite it being a busy night.Nice menu featuring a fusion of southern ingredients and recipes with a strong Asian influence. Foodies would like it. It isn’t cheap, but is well worth a visit.
The food, from a menu reflecting regional seasonally available stock, was excellent. Just so the service, which was attentive yet not hovering. My wife & I will definitely return.
Good food, but pricey. Have eaten there 3 times, each time the food has been good. Last time I ate there had the Bronzed Diver Scallops, they were excellent. However, was disappointed in the serving size, for $25 you only get 3 scallops. It looked more like an appetizer than an entree. We ordered the Calamari appetizer for $10 which was also delicious, and was twice the serving size of my scallop entree. The wine is definitely overpriced, we paid $42 for a $10 bottle of Merlot that was highly recommended by our server, but was quite disappointing in flavor.
