We have visited a couple of times. Very nice decor and friendly service. Sampled a few things from their menu and although the dishes were agreeable, we’re just not convinced yet. There is something there I am sure. Just have to find it so we will return again. One criticism is they don’t include a spoon with the pasta dishes.
Overall it’s not bad. The pizza was good, not great. The service was excellent. Our pizza took longer and so they gave us a discount and free bread. For $20 bucks it was a good dinner.
I travel a lot and am finally settling down in Belmont area. I love Italian and was told this was the best place to go. Man, was I disappointed! I ordered lasagna and it was aweful. I don’t know if they made a mistake and gave me manicotti but what I got was a lasagna sheets with tons of low quality tasting ricotta! No meat, just noodles and cheese. Last I checked that’s how manicotti is made. I’ve had better and hopefully will find better in this area. Went back only to try pizza hoping that was better and was even more disappointed in what they claim is the best ny style pizza in the area. Wouldn’t recommend and will not be a frequent customer there.
Great pizza
Excellent N.Y. Pizza. As a New Yorker (Long Island) I am thrilled to finally have a pizza place to call home and fortunately for me it’s only a few miles away!
The cheese pizza was good but the other pizza I ordered, with pepperoni and sausage, was too greasy; the crust; in the middle third of the pie; was completely soaked.
