Growing up in Boone, I can tell you this place has mediocre food and a bad reputation for treating their employees terribly. This place has the highest turn-over rate of any eatery in the area and it’s due to the fact that the owner’s treat each employee as if they are replaceable, Most of the food is frozen and of average quality. They do have some talented chefs there, and that is the only saving grace of this establishment. I know many people that don’t patron this restaurant because of how the owner’s treat others. This is something a dinner should know, before considering to dine here. Also, the food is overpriced for what you get. If you do decide to eat here, get the spiced sirloin.

AMAZING! The food was fresh…. AMAZING!The food was fresh and the atmosphere eclectic. Loved the daily specials. We ate there two nights in a row.08 Jun, 2014Best in Boone! Went there with friends and we had the best service and the best pasta we have ever had! The lasagna was incredible and so was the spiced sirloin! The server was great and so was the beer and wine choices. The garlic knots are incredible!

Food is great once you get it but you might be waiting a while. Normally it takes a long time for the food to come out. Also the way you pay your check is weird. You don’t pay the server at the table like most normal restaurants. You have to stand in line at the register and your in the way of all the kitchen servers. Makes for an awkward check out – very slow.

Great Italian Food!. Wonderful, romantic, homey restaurant in Boone to go for date night. Ask to sit in the loft if you can!! The best dishes by far are the garlic knots (appetizer), and the Rose. Try substituting shrimp or steak for a different experience. I had the Chicken Parmesan and the breading was nice and crispy. Portions are a little small here for the price, considering the restaurant is smack dab in the middle of a college town, but it’s a great place for a night out. Try the lemon cream cake as well!

Disappointed. This restaurant has gotten worse since it changed owners a few years ago. Went in for a evening small meal and definitely got a small meal. Ordered the $9 wings which must have come from very small chickens. 8 wings that could have fit in a large coffee cup. My companion ordered the fish and chips. The chips were very good the fish was covered in a very thick and doughy batter. The batter was underdone and sticky and the fish was very small and tasteless. This use to be one of our favorite restaurants in Boone but we will be reluctant to spend $30 there again for such a disappointing experience.

1 hour wait for our food. Never saw manager and then they charged us for salads we thought were side salads. Just not a great experience all around.

Awesome Food. Lunch specials is worth it, and the food can be pricey but is definitely worth it! They also have great drink specials, try it out.
