Burger/Beer Night. Burgers are excellent and they have a good selection of craft beers on draft (but go early because they do run out of the more popular ones). On Thursdays you can get a burger and beer for about 5 bucks, which is the best deal in town Ive heard of. My one complaint is the service, which can suck after 7 pm on weekends. My girlfriend and I usually sit at the bar so the service is better, but sitting at a table with a group of about four; forget about it. Be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes for your food.

Meh. Granted we went for dinner at 9 p.m. so maybe it was after a hoard of people came through but they seemed to be out of everything. The salad I had was nothing special and I regretted getting it because I left hungry and then went home and noshed on grilled cheese. My husband seemed to enjoy his burger and his fries were good (I ate half of them because I was starving). I took a peek at some of the other plates as they passed to other patrons and the plates looked good so maybe I just got a crappy dish, needless to say I was not impressed

Simply delicious.. Everything that I’ve eaten at Galileo’s is tasty, reasonably priced, and fresh. There’s a small, but high quality, draft beer list. The portion sizes are perfect as well. Galileo’s is becoming a Boone staple – for both day and night.

I love finding this kind of place. There is nothing that makes my day more than to stumble across a place like this. Very, very, very laid-back cross between a restaurant, bar and coffee shop. I had the half a grilled cheese sandwich with cup a soup special. The soup was cream of portabella mushroom. The grilled cheese had a pesto mayo with a tomato. Everything was fresh and the menu looked great. Definitely going back soon.

Something Different. This is a cute little place with good food and great service. I had the roast beef sandwich which was very good especially with the little salad and things they also put on the plate. My husband had the burger which he said was just alright. Inside it is a little sparse, but I think they are just starting up. I hope this place will stay in business in Boone as it’s hard to find more of a gormet sandwich place that is on the healthier side (they don’t have a fryer so you get a choice of fruit or a salad with your sandwich, helps you make a healthy choice). We will eat here again.
