This Mexican food was truly amazing. Every bite more delicious than the first. My husband and I are not from Boone, we traveled to Boone for an anniversary weekend. We were looking for a spot to eat after a long day of white water rafting and herd from our guide about Los Arcoiris Mexican Restaurant. I am so glad he told us because I could not have been happier that we went. We are from Texas and were used to some good Mexican food. My husband joined the Army four years ago and we never founda spot even close to any in Texas. We come here to Boone the beautiful mountains and we find the best Mexican food ever. I would highly suggest going here to any one. Also if your into cheese dips try the mountineer, it has cheese, spinach, and chorizo in it. The staff was also wonderful and always feeling up our cups and chips. Also nice was that the food came out in a timely manor.

We will never come back. Foamy tastless frozen margarita, packaged guacamole. We aren’t even staying for dinner.
Poor service. My family and I have been long time Los Arcoiris customers. In the past the food was great, good environment and engaging hosts. The past two visits the wait staff just seem not to give a hoot. This is all recent within the last year. We are polite and good tippers, it appears to me they are doing their best to get us to give all our business to Dos Amigos for our Mexican eating out.
Food, service and price were all great, but at the previous reviewer’s suggestion, we tried the guacamole Mexicano- absolutely awesome!! We will return whenever in Blowing Rock, if only for that guacamole!
Great Food, Great Price, and Fast!. Had a little bit of everything and all was very good! The mexican Guacamole was worth the trip alone!If ever in banner elk NC – it’s a must!Served less than 10 min after order – was expecting 20 -30…Servers were very friendly. (Cheep Too! 2.25 domestic and 2.75 imports – lunch specials most under $5 – WOW for a tourist location!)
