The New China Buffet is a lot like porn. When your thinking about it, it’s the only thing on your mind. When it comes time to enjoy the experience, you savor every moment. But when you finish, you sit back covered in the remnants, and are only able to look at yourself with disgust. Overall, really good selection and quality though.
Recent Review!!!. My wife, her brother and myself all ate here in November and we all agreed …. The food was great. I have to admit I was a little skeptical going in as it’s not presented well from the outside but the food when we were there was great. Everything we all tried was delicious and fresh. Everything was hot and the service was great. I’m from NYC and know a little about good Chinese food. I’m not sure if they have changed owners, have new cooks or we just got lucky but we will be going back soon. Can’t believe the negative reviews, obviously something changed because we loved it all!
The food is subpar, and the service is especially terrible. The waiters converse amongst themselves and bumble around instead of tending to their customers.
Good for Chinese Buffet. This is quite good for a Chinese buffet. They just changed their pork dumpling recipe, or maybe the dumpling sauce recipe, but either way they are outstanding! Their cheesy lobster is also amazing. On Sundays they have all you can eat crab legs, which are pretty darn good for a Chinese buffet. Most of their chicken is very good, sometimes it can be a bit fatty or gristle-y, but I’m quite picky.Don’t forget to get the ice cream in the back corner!
Food not good. The food was not up to standards of the other buffets i have had — lo mein was over cooked – no general tso chicken on buffet — had to wait for sesame chicken finally gave up and went and sat down – it was the only chicken on the buffet worth eating -wait staff was horrible — had to get up and get own extra napkins could not get anyones attention who worked there – kind of over priced $33.00 for 3 people and we all ran out of our drinks and had to actually hunt down a wait person to get more drink — dad left a tip but i took it off the table and put iit in my pocket why leave a tip for them when i had to do all the work- as far as replenishing our napkins and drinks — do not recommend this china buffett to anyone going to boone
