Busy.. But they were fast. Food is good if you are looking for cheap good home cooking and want to support local business.. Great place to stop.
Both me and my husband had The Mountain Man. Eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy, hashbrowns, and a pancake, but we didn’t want the pancake so the lady was nice enough to sub it for another egg. The portion sizes were kinda small for my husband but perfect for me. Everything was VERY good, the service nice and fast, and the prices were right on point! Very pleased and will be back when we are in Boone again.

Absolutely wonderful waitress. We come to the mountains every year & most of the time we stop in to eat at another local restuarant, but this day we finally got fed up with the service at this unnamed place. So, we came up the road to Sunrise Grill, had never stopped there before. But this will be our breakfast stop every year from now on. It is reasonably priced & the food was great, the waitress’s personality was absolutely wonderful. She was helpful, was eager to assist and make our visit there one to remember!! And that is the reason we will be back–great service & great food. Our opinion is thumbs UP!!!
Wonderful Breakfast / People. While staying in the high country area for the summer, We became acquainted with the Sunrise Grill. It quickly became a regular breakfast stop. The food is properly prepared and the owners, and waitress staff are the most pleasent that we have experienced not only in the city, but equals the best we have found in our vast national and international travels. We have not ordered from the lunch menu, but I am sure the quality of food, friendly service and reasonable prices would only complement our morning experiences. Give these folks a try and mention that Alan and Trish say hello. Our regards to Allison, Britney, Jamie, Christin, Ally and Lisa.Thank you for the experiences!
Delightful!. So many people enjoy this place, best breakfast place in town! Not only is The food outstanding but the specials are always a wonderful surprise. The service is great and we loved that the owner came out and talked to the customers! Definitely a must go
