We came here after the Eddie Izzard show for dinner since we’d driven from Charlotte and didn’t get to eat before the show. We had the taro chips (which were well done but salty, and we decided we wouldn’t get them again), the oysters (super delicious and I loved the pickles and aoli), ricotta gnocchi (not worth it imo – the flavors just weren’t striking and the gnocchi felt underdone, even though I know it’s the ricotta filling), and a burger (the meat was delicious, I was told but the fries were incredibly salty). For drinks, we had the viceroy and the sleigh ride – both were good, but the viceroy was at another level and definitely worth the $16, especially given that part of it is donated. Out waitress was good at not bothering us. It was actually to the point where I wished we had a bit more attention so we would have had the opportunity to share our issues with our main meals before the bill came.Our final thoughts – I would just get two orders of oysters, ask for extra pickles, and my bf would probably order the burger again. We would definitely come back for drinks if we were in the area.
